Cardura, Generic Cardura, Doxazosin is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Cardura, Generic Cardura, Doxazosin is also used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate). It relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to urinate. Cardura, Generic Cardura, Doxazosin may also be used for purposes other than those listed in this medication guide. Take Cardura, Generic Cardura, Doxazosin exactly as directed by your doctor.
